Passport Pro is a local-first iOS app for some of the most sensitive documents you own. Most users will never touch our servers. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and what we never do.

What we collect

• Nothing by default. Your travellers, documents, document numbers, scans and trips live in SwiftData on your device. We do not see them, sync them, log them, or back them up unless you ask. Document scans are written with full file-protection and can be locked behind Face ID.
• App Store purchase state. If you subscribe to Passport Pro Pro, Apple tells your device "this Apple ID is entitled." We never see your card details, name, or email.

What we never do

• No third-party analytics SDKs (no Mixpanel / Amplitude / Firebase / PostHog).
• No advertising SDKs.
• No crash-reporting SDKs beyond Apple's built-in MetricKit.
• No data brokers. No selling, sharing, or reselling of your documents or travel history.

Reminders

Expiry reminders are scheduled entirely on your device with local notifications. No server is involved in nagging you — it works in Airplane Mode.

How long we keep things

On-device: until you delete the app or tap "Delete everything" in Settings. On our servers: nothing — we don't keep user records.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete everything wipes every traveller, document, scan and trip on your device.

Children

Passport Pro is suitable for ages 4+. Parents commonly store their children's passport details. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone — adult or child — because we do not collect your documents at all by default.
